In Matthew chapter 28, Jesus tells the disciples to, "Go make disciples." At Zion Lutheran Church, we believe we are a congregation that has been sent into the community of Oelwein to share the transformative love of Jesus in as many ways as possible. Sometimes, this means serving people at the local food pantry. Other times, this means being present for community events. Still other times, it means being present at school and sporting events. We believe that we are disciples who are sent to make more disciples!
